Dragonflies warn fish
of approaching fisher-
men.
"They're coming,"
the message goes.
In return, the dace
(meaning carp)
don't eat glittering
darters (meaning
dragonflies) during
courtship.
It's an unspoken agreement as old as
the fish are.
